The company

RKJ Property Consultants provide building surveying, project management and party wall surveying services across the whole of Essex and all North London boroughs. We regularly survey residential, commercial and industrial buildings and always provide a professional and reliable service.

As well as surveying, we undertake refurbishment/maintenance projects for our clients, providing advice on procurement, contract selection and supervision of the project from start to completion. Our construction knowledge extends from historic and listed buildings through to new build/modern construction.

As a building surveying practice we are a step ahead when it comes to satisfying our clients' requirements. We listen to our clients to ensure we understand precisely what it is that they need. Where necessary we adapt to provide a service that fulfils their requirements, whilst maintaining our professional standards.

Collectively we have 25 years’ experience in the surveying Industry, and over this period we have developed detailed knowledge of all construction types, as well as the typical defects that are associated with these properties.

Over the past 25 years we have advised our clients on their responsibility to maintain such properties as Grade 1 listed office buildings in the centre of London, out of town office units all over the South of England, retail and industrial units in the North of England and existing and new build residential developments across London and the South East.

Our director

Chris Bell (MRICS) is the director of RKJ Property consultants, and the main point of contact for all new instructions. He is always contactable via email (chrisbell@rkjprop.co.uk) or mobile (07796 278181).

Chris graduated from John Moores University, Liverpool with an Honours degree in Building Surveying in 1994. He achieved professional qualification in December 2000. 

Since qualifying, Chris has worked at a variety of surveying practices including Keningtons LLP, Tuckerman Commercial Ltd and Base Building Consultancy Ltd. In May 2014 Chris set up RKJ Property Consultants Ltd.
